May 30th was special for a lot of reasons, like the first treaty of Paris, but below are two that hit home for me.
1911: The first Indianapolis 500 automobile race was run in Indianapolis, Indiana.
1922: The Lincoln Memorial was dedicated in Washington, D.C.

Lionel Matthew Colter was born last night at 8:39pm. He was 8 lbs 13 oz, 21 inches long. He is amazing. I’m sure I’m biased, but I probably should be. I’m still excited, but not as nervous now that he is here. Please make sure to check out his website and sign his guestbook.
Through out the year I will be taking photos and am going to create a book to house the comments and pictures.

It is early in the morning and we are getting ready to go to the hospital, where they are going to induce Laura. I am very excited. I will have pictures and stats up on as soon as possible.

2848 Last year we planted some flowers in the garden in front of the house. We have been blessed with blossoms the past couple of months, and I only hope that they continue to come all the way into late summer. Above is a picture of an Allium from our garden. I have not posted many pictures of the flowers, but feel free to take a look.
The house is coming along nicely, and I hope family and friends will be able to visit it and see what we have done with the place. I know there are no pictures of the house posted, but I really want to make sure my family gets to see it for the first time in person and not online.

Yesterday morning Laura and I went to the ultrasound appointment and they measured and measured until they came up with an estimated size/weight of 7 lbs, 5 oz. I am very excited that my son could enter the world any day now.
